The dress is a very elegant sheath dress and I felt comfortable wearing it. It’s definitely a go anywhere dress. It’s a very fine knit merino and I’ve given it 4 rather than 5 stars as depending on the occasion I felt it was a bit see-through and would need an underskirt. It also crept up and wrinkled around the waist when walking in it which meant I felt the need to adjust it regularly. I’m 5’2 so this might not be a problem if you are taller.

This has become my go-to travel outfit! Ireland, Mexico, Europe. On the plane it is cozy softness, with no waistband or belts or fabric bunching. Very easy to go through security. I bring a cardigan for when the plane gets cold at night and the dress is warm…just enough. When I arrive and it’s 30C outside, somehow the dress is breezy cool! And I can wear it from 8 hour flight to breakfast to bed and wear again the next day as a beach coverup (if I wanted to!). It always smells fresh. Handwashes and dries in a flash and weighs nothing. NOT see though. And dresses up for a fancy dinner with heels + sparklies.
Sizing is correct. I got a size L. . I am a size 10-12, a bit curvy and it gently hugs without being overly tight.
Worth the price.
