$18.00   $18.00

3lb Sterile Millet Grain Spawn Bag – Vacuum-Sealed with Injection Port

Our 3lb millet grain spawn bag is fully sterilized, vacuum-sealed, and equipped with a self-healing injection port for clean and efficient inoculation. Millet is a nutrient-dense grain with a high surface area, providing thousands of inoculation points to accelerate mycelial colonization and improve yield reliability.

Key Features

  • 100% white millet—small grain, high nutrient content, fast colonization
  • Sterilized at 121°C for 2.5 hours in a commercial autoclave
  • Self-healing injection port for easy, clean inoculation
  • Includes internal filter patch for optimal gas exchange
  • Vacuum-sealed inside a secondary barrier bag for double-layer protection
  • Longer shelf life when stored in a cool, dry place (45–70°F)

Quick Start Guide

  • Inspect: Ensure bag is intact, fully sealed, and the filter patch is undamaged.
  • Inoculate: Wipe injection port with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Inject 4–6 mL of liquid culture or spore solution using a sterile syringe.
  • Shake: Once 20–30% colonized, gently mix the bag to redistribute mycelium for faster spread (optional).
  • Incubate: Store bag upright at 70–75°F in a clean, dark area. Full colonization typically occurs in 10–18 days.
  • Use or Store: Use immediately after full colonization or refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.

Storage Tips

  • Keep between 45–70°F for maximum shelf life
  • Avoid direct sunlight and excessive humidity
  • Do not freeze
